I have been farming RP and Biggs in GW shipments, they are both 6 stars and ready will be 7 stars soon! We will see if it was a good decision. (Not that there was anything else to farm there that I didn't already have.

Lol......?? Many would disagree. I'm curious though, how are ships more necessary than guilds?
Ships are necessary to answer nagging community questions and concerns.
We already have an individual ranking system, why would we need group rankings?
Guilds already exist, just not in the interface.
Guilds are drama.
Guilds provide a foundation for players to cooperatively play with like minded individuals in a formal organizations, competitively against other such organization in various settings and modes (for examples see Star Wars Force Collection) for the potential of additional rewards.
How are ships the answer to the community's nagging questions? The community has many questions of the Devs about the direction of the game. Like many I would welcome ships, but this game lacks many important multiplayer features of an online game that keep people interested.
Clearly you don't like guilds or have any desire to participate in such a mechanic. But simply because you don't, doesn't mean it isn't a necessary feature. Guilds/GvG are one of the most requested additions to this game; right up there with ships. So let's not state that guilds aren't necessary and are only drama like its a universal truth.
People want guilds because they want to be "in charge".
I repeat, guilds already exist.
Added Guild UI adds little to the game.
This is not an MMO, and guilds are not in other similar games (MAA for instance).
The nagging question is:
"Why introduce us to the Hutt in the tutorial, then tell us we will meet again, then show him sitting at a table with SHIPS, then mention SHIPS in Biggs' bio, only to not have SHIPS?
Also, you said yourself, ships are the #1 most requested feature.

So your counter is basically "nuh uh. It's just drama."
Guilds exist as a means of providing more content thorough both GvG and GvE events/tournaments. Your anti-guild agenda and use of e-bullying as the justification to exclude this feature doesn't change this fact. Guilds and guild based events also exist in many mobile games. I provided you with just one in my above post. The fact that this isn't an MMO is irrelevant. Guilds exist cross-genre and platform and often serve specific functions.
What information do you have that a competitive ladder wouldn't exist for ships? What information do you have that ships may not be a guild based feature? What information do you have on ships at all? The answer is you don't have any info on it what-so-ever. I also never stated that ships were the number one feature requested. I specifically said both were one of the most highly requested features.
Guys, it's a difference of opinion. If it happens it happens. The direction the game is going , I don't think we'll see guilds for the foreseeable future.

You are clearly missing a sense of comprehension for the topic. They are both debating guilds and ships, he isn't begging to have guilds implemented as soon as possible, just weighing the benefits over the other.
The significance of Critical-Utopian Socialism and Communism bears an inverse relation to historical development.
That's a huge stretch. Doubtful. Guilds > ships anyway.
I think it is a shorter stretch than guilds. I think it is silly to have a Star Wars game without space battles. That being said I don't know why we can't have both ships and guilds.
I liked your idea of the two actually being tied together and the only reason I wouldn't want guilds is because I'm not in one lol. Obviously if they released guilds and there were exclusive events/rewards I would join one ASAP.
The player base as a whole is starving for new content that they have been promising forever so if they added either ships or guilds with something to do besides talk then that is a good thing. Sadly I am not very optimistic and I think that if it was either guilds or ships they would've hyped it more. Just my 2 cents.

I have been in MANY online guilds/clans/whatever in MANY games and speak from experience. Guilds start fun, then come the RULES by the LEADER. Elections, debates, drama.
We already HAVE guilds, I was invited 3 times yesterday alone.
Guilds can do tracking without a game update.
Biggest reason ships come before guilds: they can SELL ships.

Life is drama. I was trying to have a legitimate debate with you. Unfortunately, you're a very poor troll failing at witty remarks.
Debates are over-rated, and common sense usually makes them a waste of time.
That's a huge stretch. Doubtful. Guilds > ships anyway.

I largely agree. I'm fairly confident both are goals for the Devs. The questions are how long do we have to wait and in what order will they come. I think SWFC really does its guild/legion system right. The events are a lot of fun and provide good rewards that participate but aren't game breaking for those that don't. It provides a sense of cooperation/teamwork and competition that this game currently lacks.
I definitely want ships too and I agree that the prospect of them being included in GvG gameplay would be a ton of fun.

Hardly game, set or match. So dramatic. Opinions are not a compition.
I am really sorry you have had trouble with guild drama. If you find a group of like minded people guilds can greatly enhance the value and the fun of the game for everyone in the guild and the game.
It's kind of like forums, or even a thread.. There is always someone that says something just for the shock value, or to disagree with a popular opinion in order to cause drama.
Sick of hearing about Biggs in my opinion they aren't going to take a single character in the game and all of a sudden make him a god by giving him a ship or something. Just doesn't add up of you think about it.
Replies
I think you will be disappointed with Biggs' relevance.
Our biggest complaint is content, ships answers that.
Guilds without a new game mode isnt really new content.
I predict chat functionality, but no guilds. They arent necessary.
I doubt guilds + guild war has been coded.
Ships have been coded, I have seen some of the icons datamined.
Lol......?? Many would disagree. I'm curious though, how are ships more necessary than guilds?

Censorship continues to amaze me.
