Cantina drops rates have been changed

As a player of over 1 year now I am having something occur that I've never run into before... I'm on back-to-back day's of getting only 2 shards per day of T3-M4 drops, so in 2 day's I've nabbed a grand total of 4 shards and am only at a 3 star toon. This occurred to me recently with Mission Vao when I was trying to get her to 7 star. Previously, I'd seen 4 shard drop's which is fine and allows me to feel like I've achieved some progress but the spontaneous number of 2 shard drops is taking it's toll.

My strategy is to save all cantina energy for 24 hours and take my extra 45 energy I get at noon local time which allows me to sim 13 battles. I'd imagine that each sim is mutually exclusive (meaning 1 sim doesn't impact the outcome of another). This strategy is mainly due to time constraints throughout the day and not based on any desired statistical voodoo to assist my farming. As I've never encountered such a rash of day's of only achieving 2 shard drops from the cantina until over the past 1+ months, the probability of my luck turning south to this degree is highly unlikely without some change to the game (of which as of late there have been plenty). *Please see the scene in Robert DeNiros movie Casino when the mega slot's get successfully hit 3 times in a row*

Solution: Per 10-12 sims CG should build in a 4 drop minimum to keep the game moving in cantina battles.

This is perhaps one of the best games on the market and I continue to look forward to battling it out on the holotables!

    You’re making a claim based on 2 days worth of data?

    That’s not how to build a convincing case.

    Much better is to track how many attempts you have over a longer period and note how many shards you get. The drop rate is 33% - any serious and thorough attempt to track it has proved this.

    So if you read a little more carefully, I said over the last 2 day's I've had this problem with T3-M4 as well as previously farming Mission Vao, so this is not just a 2 day issue. I also state that I believe there was a change that occurred most like in late May or early June, apparently I needed to be more direct.

    I'm trying to raise awareness now so we don't have to wait 1-2 years or when people get very frustrated before they start doing something about this problem. I've discussed this with my guild, and the goal is to have CG double check to make sure something hasn't changed. Why any gamer would be in opposition to that is mind-numbing.

    Please show us the data you have collected you support the claim of a change. Players have tracked data and shown a 33% drop rate on shards. If this was a change made, it should be simple to support this claim.

    No one is in opposition to anything, just looking for more than a feeling based on small sample size and confirmation bias.

    But you and your guild can double check.

    All of you track your data properly over a week. 2 weeks. A month.

    Then you’ll see the truth.

    Making baseless claims of almost non existent data is mind numbing. And expecting the devs to leap into action to “double check” is incredibly naive.

    Shard drop rate changed? What did it change from (How many drops from how many attempts)? What did it change to (how many drops from how many attempts)?

    When I farmed mission here we’re some days there were 2 shards but some days I would get as much as 8 or 10 you just have to wait it out and it will balance itself out as each sim has a chance of drawing a shard it hasn’t decreased at all
