    Pretty sure they have to be in your guild for 24 hours to join a raid. It's been a while since I have done that, so maybe I'm misremembering.

    no...we usually bring them a few hours before start (after TW/TB and before the raid). We just don't set the raid to start (join period) until an hour before. If you have a 24 hour join period, then I believe you are correct. Thx!

    our usual group is currently locked, so they can't merc, lol

    New members can join the raid as long as it was launched after they joined the guild.
