So sometimes people are able to attack as late as possible - that's great for them and it leaves everyone else who actually work for a living having to guess how efficient they have to be. It would be better to hide the points from both parties until after the battle is over. In that way, it doesn't matter if you can only attack at night, in the morning, or 30 minutes before the end - everyone is on the same level of knowing how efficient they have to be.
