Should I invest in the Bad Batch at 2*?

My bad batch (-omega who is at 3*) is at 2*. Should I gear them up and give them ability mats, because I know I can't really farm them to 7*?
So Is the Bad Batch good enough at 2-3*?

If you are not going to farm them soon, there is no point in gearing them up.

Better gear squads/characters which are at 7*, as you can use them in raids
