JMK Tier 1 crashing

I see this has been an issue for a lot of people. Has anyone had any luck with EA responding with actual helpful information on when and what will fix it?
It's crashed mid battle 7 times in 3 days. All my software is updated and I have no issues with anything else in the game crashing.
Any information would be appreciated

This has happened to me today on only my 2nd attempt ever of tier 1.

I had a guy in my guild who complained he upgraded one character to G13... 3 times. And every time the character was still at G12. He left us. He opened a ticket and I dont know what the response was, but he was a very active player...and he suddenly stopped playing.
