New consistent crash in challenge rancor?

Is anyone else experiencing consistent game freeze (the no button crash) when sending an escaping toon in (hyoda/wat/etc) to eat the devour in challenge rancor?

I got it 3x in a row with hyoda, and 1x with Wat…
