At least they have started Conquest before GA. By doing so they might enforce crystal purchases in the store. The methods of CG are simply disgusting…bunch of hypocrites.
Squad Arena is for lower level players now, so it makes sense.
Hmmm…and you think that lower level players can get to the top rewards? I don’t know about your shard but the ones that I’m aware of demand legends to get to the top 50. So how shall this update support low end players?
But fine with me…continue to believe that this has been a positive update. I see it quite the contrary.
I think the plan is to help even things out for brand new players. Older shards this doesn't account for, but new players never join old shards anyway.
A hdb brand new player goes straight into grand arena being available, where they can immediately start getting some daily crystals. They will also be top of the arena for a few months with hardly any effort, 1 battle a day. That will let them get farming the characters from the arena store.
Non hdb players will not have access to the grand arena for about 3 months, but get a crystal income from dailies instead. They are more likely to spend more time each day in arena, as there is more urgency in their character farming from that shop. So when they get the team to start pushing up, the hdb players won't be as interested in holding the top places.
Old shard top players aren't going to suddenly place Phoenix on defence and let non GL players go to the top. But even low placing arena players shouldn't care that much. I was done using that store to star up characters long before I ever reached number 1 in arena. Like 2 years before. And the low placing arena players are getting way more crystals than they used to with the opportunity to earn even more through GAC. If a player was outside the crystal rewards ranks then this is a massive improvement.

It supports lower level players, not low end players. The gear in that shop is great for players who are not yet at level 85.

As for the text not showing properly, try restarting, and if that doesn't work, clearing your cache.

Its the lower level players that need the gear more.
Yes, exactly
