Now that we can pre-set our defences can we make that matchmaking faster without 24H setup window? That event feels like dragging and no fun at all. Not mentioning broken matchmaking as there’s plenty of these threads around.

It's an interesting point there, and for a lot of people, it probably does eliminate the need for a set up phase.

However, there are still a lot of people who change their defenses based on scoring their opponent, so it's probably best to leave that window.
