Krennic rework concept

Any and all feedback appreciated :)

Director Krennic; dark side, support, leader, empire, imperial trooper

Oppressive empire support who serves both his superiors and inferiors best the more status effects there are on the field.


Test their defenses (basic):

Deal special damage to target enemy and inflict defense down for 2 turns. If target is light side, also Inflict tenacity down for 3 turns. If target is dark side, inflict potency down for 3 turns. grant offense up to death trooper and random empire ally for 2 turns.



Deploy the garrison (special):
Cooldown 4 turns

Deal special damage to all enemies inflicting stun for 1 turn on all critically hit enemies. Revive death trooper for 20% health and protection for each debuffed enemy. Otherwise heal death trooper and krennic for 10% for each debuffed enemy and recover 10% protection for each buffed ally. If death trooper and/or shore trooper are present then they and all imperial trooper allies are called to assist.

All allies gain 10% bonus protection for 3 turns for each empire ally present. Additionally, all imperial trooper allies gain speed up and retribution for 3 turns.



Experimental weaponry (special):
Cooldown 3 turns

Grant all empire allies a buff based on role for 2 turns and then deal special damage to target enemy inflicting a debuff based on role for 2 turns and dispell all buffs. If target is a rebel also inflict speed down for 2 turns. If target is a rebel fighter also inflict offence down for 2 turns. If target is rogue one also inflict health down for 2 turns and all the effects can't be dispelled or resisted.

Attacker: offence up / stun

Tank: defence up / armor shred

Support/healer: evasion up / ability block

Zeta: Additionally, If director krennic has 5 or more buffs, also deal 40% extra damage for each buff dispelled this way and then inflict buff immunity for 3 turns. This effect cannot be resisted or dispelled.



Director of advanced weapons research (leader):

For every 10 buffs (Zeta: or debuffs) active on an imperial trooper ally at once, that ally gains a stack of "amidst achievement", and loses a stack for every 10 buffs (zeta: or debuffs) that expire or get dispelled.

Amidst achievement: +200% offence, +100% defence, +50% speed, and revive at 25% health and protection when defeated. This buff can not be copied, dispelled, or prevented.

Empire allies gain 20% critical chance and 20% potency. Debuffed enemies who are critically hit during an empire ally's turn suffer ability block for 1 turn. This effect can't be resisted.

All imperial trooper allies gain 10% turn meter each time a debuff is applied.

Zeta: all imperial trooper allies' basic gain an additional effect unique to that character.

Death trooper: 100% to inflict daze, if target enemy resists, attack again. 50% chance to grant krennic foresight for 1 turn.

Shore trooper: 100% to inflict critical chance down, if target enemy resists, taunt

Storm trooper: if target has any buffs, inflict expose

Snow trooper: if attack crits, gain advantage

Magma trooper: attack all enemies, 70% chance to inflict tenacity down

Dark trooper: 70% chance to inflict defence down

Range trooper: if buffed, call an assist

Veers: 100% chance to grant speed up

Starck: inflict defence down and gain offence up for 2 turns

Iden: deal damage 2 more times. if enemy was debuffed, gain advantage

Piett: call an assist from all allies who have 5 or more buffs

Gus fring: remove 5% turn meter for each stack of insight



Two men with me, now (unique):

If death trooper is present at the beginning of the encounter and the ally slot is available summon a second death trooper ally with the same stats that can't be revived. (Zeta: while active, attacks targeted toward krennic deal 50% less damage. Twin death trooper can be resummoned by using deploy the garrison or by reviving death trooper.)

While director krennic is active empire allies gain +30% potency and imperial trooper allies gain +20% bonus protection



Twin death trooper (summon):

Stats and moveset identical to active death trooper.



We stand here amidst my achievements (unique):

Krennic gains any buff grand moff tarkin does, and when grand moff tarkin deals a critical hit krennic takes a bonus turn.

When grand moff tarkin is defeated reset cooldowns on all imperial trooper allies and krennic takes a bonus turn. Krennic's next attack deals 100% more damage if all allies were empire at the start of the battle. Krennic then gains a permanent stack of "amidst achievement" until the end of the encounter.

This applies to grand moff tarkin on any team.

Omicron (grand arena): if tarkin is on the field at the start of the encounter, all allies gain a permanent stack of "amidst achievement" until end of the encounter. Krennic can't be targeted until allied tarkin is defeated. Enemy team can't apply debuffs until enemy tarkin is defeated.
