Looking forward to relics

I've been lvl 85 for about 1 month. I started playing just towards the end of 2020, and have just recently gotten back into it. I didn't have much direction building my roster initially. So I'm currently shooting for gl Rey and then, hopefully with be able to generate enough resource for JML. I'm just starting to approach relics, what should I expect as far as the gear crunch goes? I know, everyone hates every aspect of it and it's the worst thing ever. But I'd like a realistic response about what level of relics are available in how much time, for a dolphin I guess you'd say. I buy just enough crystals to get good refreshes daily and I buy the blue ability upgrades for 4.99€ when they come around.
