Ardent Datacron question

I rolled the Ardent Datacron with +400% offense and -50% defense. I also rolled +63% armour

Would the armour compensate for the lack of defense. I want to put it on SEE or Lord Vader but I've read the defense reduction is not good for both of them

So it sounds like against physical attacks you are at +13%. Against Special Damage (such as Fennec) you are still at -50%.
