Can greedo get to gear 9 now?

With the level cap and the changing of gears, can i get greedo to 9? Im at gear 7 so if i get him to gear 8 will i be left out?

    I'm pretty sure you could get him to gear 9 at level 70. Idk because I don't have him but I heard that somewhere

    He can if you have a furnace pre made. But no otherwise

    I have him at gear 9, I was lucky enough to get it before they reworked his gear, he does suck beyond belief though.
