Since i am a fans of FINAL FANTASY games, especially FF7 and FF8, i know these two names.

Biggs and Wedge are recurring chars in FF series.

These are them in FF7 (1997). They ARE also rebels here.

And these are them in FF8 (1999). They can be found during a boss fight (Elvoret) from which you can steal the GF (Guardian Force) "Siren".

Could some1 please tell me why these two names occur in SW universe too?
Thanks.

Why they are in Star Wars?

Star Wars came twenty years earlier.

This. Clearly the FF names are there as an homage to Star Wars.
  • They were also in the beginning of FF6, up until the fight against the lightning whelk. Original release names were Vicks and Wedge, but it was a mistranslation iirc.
