Ah! Thats what im doing wrong! I bring in a whole fleet to my battles. Now i see, 2 ships is the way to go.

Not exactly about cheating but i have something to say: when i’m attacking i only fill 2 reinforcement slots with good ships (2/3). This is so if they greatly overpower me then i will still have stronger ships if i need to attack again. not exactly taking 2 ships into battle and nuking it in 0.25 seconds, but just along the lines of not a full fleet.
