Probably one of the single most requested features, and Crumb recently said in one of his streams that it's extremely unlikely. Personally I'd love it and I don't see the harm but it's probably not happening.

the problem with it is, you can just go to your gac matches, look at to your opponents teams, find a guildmate that has a similiar roster, ask him to put similiar mods and you can try hundreds of strategy until you find one that works. it would harm the competetetive aspect of the game tbh.

If anyone can do it, I don't see the problem with that. You see a problem - I see a game mode with the potential to be a lot of fun. It's neither here nor there though - this isn't happening.

I think this is the main reason it is requested.

I kind of get your point though. Watching the top players stream, they sort of want/try to put fights on auto; remove the 'chance' aspect. That doesn't feel right to me. Also who you know is a bias factor.

I'm not sure you're right, I'm not sure you're wrong. Removing the 'chance' factor by drilling doesn't sound in the spirit of the game. However, the player that does the more homework, deserves to be rewarded.

The easiest middle ground I guess is to remove crystal refreshes and limits in Arena. That surely is very limited programming.

I guess that's an interesting aspect of datacrons; makes things less predictable! (harvestmouse runs for the hills before the hawks are called!)

Yeah, we could actually have some fun and even organize some tournaments (if we extend the idea to the GAC format), god forbid.

People are alrdy doing that with shard mates, many ppl even bought alt accounts that are on the same shard for GAC/TW testing purpose. Common practice.

I think this (and sandbox mode) are unlikely, because they will die after a short period of hype. Like the top competitive guilds will spend hours on it, but the further you go down the ladder, the less activity you will find. Id rather have new content than another squad arena.

(Also there is no real way to monetize but shhhh)
