This may have been asked before but I cant find it. Is there a running / updated list of accelerated characters?

The list of non-accelerated characters is smaller - as a general rule, anything released over a year ago will be accelerated. I believe Ninth Sister was the last one to move to the accelerated track. So anything released after she was will still be 1x shards. This only applies to units that are farmable on a holotable node (cantina, regular energy, fleet energy), and (sadly) excludes ships. If you really want a list, you can compile one by looking through the last year of Developer posts that announce a new character.

As for a comprehensive, pre-compiled list - I don't know of one.

When the announcement is made for the character being accelerated, i believe it says “so and so has been added to the list of accelerated characters”. That may just be a mental list, but i’m not sure.

Google SWGOH Marquee Release Schedule. You’ll find a list of all the marquee releases, when their packs come out, and when they become farmable. Characters become accelerated roughly one year from their release date.

I mean there might be a physical list but we aren't in CG's offices to see it.

It would be easier to list the units that are not accelerated. Half the inquisitors, hondo, boush, skando.

This is the answer. Go there, find the one year cutoff, everything above that point is not accelerated.

As others have pointed it, it's much easier to keep track of non-accelerated characters. u/jstoberl on swgoh subreddit posts an updated list of unaccelerated/unfarmable characters every time a new characters gets accelerated.
