Can guilds recruit across different servers?

It's my understanding that guilds can only recruit from their own server, based on games similar to this one. I've noticed a few recruitment threads lately, and I wonder how it is possible to say that they already have 30/50 or whatever when we don't even have guilds unlocked yet. It's difficult to even find five different players on these boards from your own server, let alone 20-30 "recruited" already.

It's actually leaderboards and not servers\shards. And yes guilds are across all leaderboards and time zones .

How about platforms? Does anyone know if they stretch across both android and apple?
