10 Omi Refund for Boussh Omicron

Obviously the 10 Omicron refund for Bousshs Raid Omicron has been cancelled without any further notice. That is kinda lame, since there were the guys lucky enough to have 20+ Omicons saved up at that time and those who weren’t.

There wasn’t even a proper way of whaling besides the ridiculously expensive 230 EUR pack.

This puts a lot of players at a significant disadvantage. Therefore it would be nice to prolong the refund time period for an additional 2 or 3 weeks or lower the cost to 10 Omicrons permanently. So everybody who is interested can get that Omi for half the price.

They never even said it would apply to people that hadn't already applied it.

You should always have resources saved up.

Yes, but they are aware that the game has these things called guilds. And online forums like this one where people talk and share information. So, when people continued to get 10 omi mats refunds after adding the Boushh omi, it was foreseeable the guilds would encourage members to get the omi since it would help with the raid and guild performance. And, it only cost a net 10 mats at the time. And, it was foreseeable when they pulled the refund with no communication that some people would add the Boushh omi and be surprised and disappointed when they did not get the refund. Detailed communication would have been better here. Don’t defend poor communication. It just encourages future poor communication.

I'm not defending anything, I agree it was poor communication. At the same time it was a bonus that I fully expected would go away at any time, and I made sure other people were still getting the refund before I applied mine.

Biggest issue is that players expect it to still give a refund.
I'd consider placing it for 10. Just not for 20.

They released the omi, folks bought it and it turned out it wasn't all it was cracked up to be in Krayt.... So, they refunded half of the omi cost ...

Then, a bunch of players discovered an unintentional loophole where they could buy it, restart their game and get 10 omi mats back (good for them)....

Yet, instead of being happy for our fellow players, many of us would rather cry foul and create a stir over something that doesn't affect them in any way..

This is why we can't have nice things..

Meh I dont care, i upgraded mine and its doing its job, imo all of the PVE omicrons should be only 10.

@BubbaFett Do you know if the people you referenced that had a restart mishap immediately after applying the omi also got the refund? I assumed the 10 omis was a make good for that little feature, but don't know anyone that had said mishap, or at least haven't asked.

I wasn't referring to a restart "mishap"... From my understanding, the folks that purchased the omi AFTER the Krayt raid was launched and still got their 10 omis back had to restart their game to make it happen...

Im using my gear 10 5* to get 300k tickets with the omicron, its great for people who dont have jabba imo (20 is bit too pricy imo should be 10 since she wont be useful in the next raid)

You never know. Next raid could be sarlacc with a frozen han for the raid unit prize.

I have carth onasi's omi long time ago for LSgeoTB, and its suck hard. Tried lots of combination, raise relic level but no uses, i never have 4/4 in any phase even with full platoon.
Can i have my refund lol
