Tie Dagger daily refreshes

So what is the estimated number of refreshes a day needed to 7* this ship? Three 100 crystal refreshes? Three 200 crystal refreshes? More?

I’m sitting at 53/80 so it seems like a long ways off.

With no hoarded energy to start, I understand 6 or 7 refreshes at the 200 crystal cost will be needed to be sure.

55 shards from 1670 energy so far for me. A little ahead of 3%, but others seem to confirm it’s 3%

It takes 1000 attempts on average, to 7 star a single drop character.

59 shards for me from 1000 hoarded energy plus all the 50, 100 and 200 refreshes.

I'm currently on 52 shards for 2000 fleet energy. Maybe I'm riding the lower end of the RNG for now. Should still be enough to get well towards 6*+ though.

I had a good start at 66 after 1162 starting energy and did 6 refreshes (3*50 and 3*100). I have done some scenarios of different drop rates / refreshes for me based on that start. It looks like most people will get very close with just the 50c and 100c refreshes , plus a few 200s at some stage. Personally I will stick to just the 100s for the first 3-4 days , then decide if I start to do a 200 each of the remaining days or do them at the end.

Assuming the 3% is correct (certainly seems so), you'll get about 26 shards/day if you do the 50s and 100s, which is only 234 shards. If you add in the 200s you jump up to about 33 shards/day, which is 297 shards at the end, so if you had hoarded energy you should 7* that way.

I plan on doing all the way through the 200's on refreshes per day to supplement poor rng. I didn't hoard any energy. Regardless it will cost roughly 8400 crystal which is much cheaper than buying shards from the crystal shop.

I got 40 shards on 1300 energy.

Er mugh gerd, so glad I read this. I didn't realize the chase was 9 days long. According to the calculator, with my energy bank and 1x 200 refresh per day, I can get it 7* !!!

Someone on reddit did the math, 7-8 refreshes per day to 7* it. Which includes some 200 refreshes.

I did my own math, with a 3% drop rate and 1100 preloaded energy, doing 7 refreshes for 7 days and 6 refreshes for 2 days gets me right to 330.

I'm definitely riding the lower end of the average drop rates. Only at 62 for 2460 energy, closer to 2.5% than 3.

Drop rate depends on energy, right? If I understand correctly, 5 attempts at a 20 energy node gives the same number of shards than 10 attempts at a 10 energy node. Is this correct?

Yes, the drop rate is on a per energy basis....

Through 2300 energy, I’m getting a 2.6% drop rate right now. Hoping it’s just some bad luck and the drop rate is really 3%.

Obviously there’s no conclusive proof, but it wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility that they might attach a lower than usual drop rate to this chase, given that it’ll be needed at 7* to just unlock the new CS.

The problem with that sort of conspiratorial chat is that the drop rates have been different for different ships before.

3%, which this ship clearly is, is not lower than usual as there have been other ships dropping at that rate.

Someone double check my math please.

As of now, I have 52 shards. The remaining 278 will require 9267 energy assuming a 3% drop rate.

There are 8 days and 10 hrs remaining so natural regen will provide 1212 fleet energy.

The one daily fleet bonus will provide 405. I am assuming worse case that I get 0 fleet energy from daily webstore chest.

This leaves a needed 7650 from refreshes which equates to 64 refreshes. Therefore I will need 8 refreshes a day after today. Am I missing anything?

Rest of your maths looks about right to me, apart from getting 10 energy per hour… 😉

I must be having really bad RNG, only 19 Shards in 860 Energy.

Found an error. I was treating it as 6 energy per hour it’s 10.
