Any potential for ship raids in the future?

Of all major aspects of the game I feel that ships dont get enough love or attention when compared to characters and squads. There is simply not enough ships in the game to work with (in my opinion) and no where near enough ship required events to look forward to. Sure there are areas in territory wars, battles and grand arena as well as fleet arena but most of these areas dont get enough attention and arent as prominent as squad based sections. We've managed to recieve new capital ships and a few starfighters but when ship based farming is so much more time consuming than ships and the only places that would benefit using new fleets is grand arena and fleet arena it feels a little lackluster to bother working towards fleet content unless a ship based raid was brought in. I mean the star wars franchise didn't possess just ground based battles which the game seems to focus more on especially raids.
