Dumb question...do you need to participate in a raid to earn the rewards?

To expand...for example the guild runs heroic raids but you only have 5* characters...do you still get the rewards or do you need to inflict damage to get the rewards?

You have to actually perform an attempt, but you do not have to do damage. Best bet is to rush a single character to 7* and start getting your zeroes in for rewards.

I think this is only true for the krayt raid now. All others the whole guild gets the reward regardless of participation. Not sure if qualifying for the raid is needed though. I sat a HSTR out completely and got rewards (that's since krayt was released).
