50% more teams per zone

Hello I was looking to find where I could find team per zone information. I feel a little out of the loop on why last TW we had 24 teams per zone and this TW we have 36 teams per zone.

To clarify our active guild GP has been in the same threshold for both Tws (I think?) maybe we bumped up one based off participation *

I’ve talked with some folks and have decided that total numbers signed up, and slight variations in opponent + us have situated in what feels like a large increase but is likely closer to the norm for high / max participant ~268m (us) v ~300m (them).

    From what I understand, the number of teams needed per zone is equal to the amount of players who signed up for the guild with the lowest participation rate.... Ie. if your guild has 38 sign up and their guild has 30 sign up , the required teams will be 30 per zone....

    There’s more to it than that.

    At a certain point in signed up GP, the number of teams per zone is 1.0 x the lower number of signed up players. But at lower GPs it is only 0.8 x number of signed up players and even 0.6 x number of signed up players.

    I used to have an image with the various thresholds but I’ve lost it. And it’s probably out of date now anyway (assuming the devs have bothered to update them).

    Feels like this is one of those things that might be good to have in the FAQ, considering it does come up from time to time.
    F2P since the last time I bought Kyros, Crystals, or the Conquest Pass.

    To add a little more history there.

    AFAIK it has always been 50% of sighed up players (round up)

    So you needed 25/50 to sign up to even qualify to open up the event & the minimum teams per Zone was 13 & it maxed out at 25 based on the # that signed up. (Again at 50% rate)

    However that was back when guild GP was lower before 8 GLs & 3 Mega fleets etc etc.

    Now, once Guild GP hits 300Mil? I think it was 300 mil. The 50% figure starts to climb.

    So as Darjelo mentioned above, you get 60%, 80%, 100% of the signed up members once your signed up total GP is over 300? million.

    That is the post where they changed the gear but I'm not seeing where they listed the bracket points for the 60/80/100% increase to # of teams was at.

    PS.

    On closer look it appears they did say the increase starts at the "new tiers" which starts at 240 mil.
    The 300 I was recalling is where the Relic-9 mats started.

    I thought somewhere it did show where the 60-80-100 came in but I'm not finding it.

    After looking at that chart & straining my brain, I feel like the 3 new GP bracket bumps might have been 240-300-360.
    For some reason that 60 mil per bracket is sticking in my head.

    So my guess is the increase is a combo of going from 60 to 80% by hitting the 300? mark for the lower sign up #.
    Possibly combined w/ just a higher overall turn out for TW maybe too.

    For Example:
    GP Sign Up - % Reqs - Player # - Req Team
    190 Mil (50%) 25 = 13
    250 Mil (60%) 30 = 24
    310 Mil (80%) 40 = 32
    370 Mil (100%) 45 = 45

    So based on the OP saying they went from 24 to 36

    60%, 24 Req = 40 signed up
    80%, 36 Req = 45 signed up.

    5 more people combined w/ going up a bracket would explain it, though they seem a bit low to hit that bracket if it really is 300, I'm not sure of the actual ranges though.
