Missing notifications on this site.

I did not know what category to put this in, but here it goes. When I log into this site it shows the little red circle notifier with x amount of notifications. When I click on the red circle or go to notifications through my account----it says no notifications at this time. There are notifications though. It has done this today and last night. Any suggestions?

Somewhat related thing: i posted a thread in off topic (at least i tried) abt a week ago and it hasn’t shown up. idk if there is something wrong with it or if it just didn’t get approved (idk why it wouldn’t it was just a kit idea)

I posted about this last fall. Still happens. Seems to be related to long periods of inactivity. Eventually the bubbles go away, but it takes weeks.

You are correct. I had been inactive. It is working tonight.
