Bossk is arguably the best bounty hunter and if this is your main team I'd swap Cad Bane out for him. Cad is decent, mostly because of his ship,but hes nowhere near as useful as Bossk.
Almost every unit in the game is worth gearing up. Dengar provides some defensive stability to your team but Greef’s cleanse and mass assist can be very useful.

To me, getting the Mil Falcon was a big thing early since back then there were only 4 cap ships & Falcon was the only Legendary.
The fact that "most" of the Mil Falcon reqs are also Executor reqs means I was close to ready for Exec when it first popped up.
Dengar was useful for the BH team to get C3PO since he cancels R2's invis in that event. So he was a solid 5th BH. (And also ended up being Req for Exec)
Jango being in the same node as Bossk's Ship, Hounds Tooth, meant I also had the 2 BH needed for GL-Kenobi ready as well.
The only 2 I have still not put Relics on are Greef & Boba-Scion.
Both are solid characters, but, neither is used for something else other than being a good BH, so, I'm still waiting to get there.
When Jabba popped he required basically every BH that wasn't already req for something else.
So to me it comes down to going the "Fleet" Route, or the "Jabba" Route now days.
I still think the "Fleet" route is the better way to go early game.
You get more events that way, but, there is no denying that Jabba is a great GL & is needed for several things that only he can do.
So you can't go wrong with either route, but, what I would NOT do is try to go both routes at the same time.
Pick one, work it completely & open up those events, then later, come back for the other route.
GL-LordVader has an added pair that aren't used for much so he got put down last of all.
As you can see, there is really no BH you want to completely ignore anymore, Jabba & LV added in all the ones that were not getting used on the "Fleets" path.
It now just comes down to the order you do them in.
Nothing is a true waste, just that some, like Greef, Mando, & Scion, have no major events to do at high relics, but in turn are all solid BH to use for GAC/TW.

Are you looking for BH that qualify for other events.
For example:
Greef is one of the better BH, but, outside of having him to 7* for the BAM event, he gets you nothing for other events.
Cad & Dengar are both required to open certain major events (Falcon & GL-JMK for Cad & Executor for Dengar IIRC)
So neither of those is a bad investment for getting to Relic levels.
I regret not having my Greef up at Relics after all this time, but I'd regret not having JMK or Executor even more.
Just something to think about.
