To OP: Your Troopers seem to be one of your stronger teams so you could go for SEE (although I think SLKR is the best GL to go for first)
You could also work towards a Padme team, in the beginning it carried me a long way and later she is still good against GAS or DR for example. From there you could go for Negotiator.
