Boushh Omicron
It is unprecedented to have an upgrade as rare as an Omicron ability to become effectively 100% worthless. Please, downgrade the ability for ALL players and give a full refund (or partial for people who already received the other partial.) Alternatively, just remove the Omicron entirely and chalk it up to a mistake.

So everyone who benefited from her omi over the last year should get a refund to put it on someone else? Why should they get to double dip with that omi?
Also there have been plenty of zetas early on that quickly became useless and they didn't refund them, so not unprecedented. You can still run Krayt and use her there 🤷♂️
Even CG doesn't want us running the old stuff - and as soon as "Outdoors on Endor" (my name, not theirs) is released, Krayt becomes the old stuff. There are no well established players or guilds that will continue running Krayt when the new raid drops - so "just run Krayt instead" is a silly thing to say. I'm not as put out by this as I would be if I hadn't got the partial refund already, but it's certainly annoying to sink resources into something for a given purpose and then have that purpose be made obsolete by design. It smacks of datacron logic, only I can't dust my sunken omicron mats.
I'm not going to cry about the lost omicron mats - and sure, I got some benefit from the omi - but the next raid omi that I apply is going to have to be an easy button for a max score - and even that may not be enough to convince me. If CG wants me to invest the most scarce upgrade material in the game, they're going to have to give me more motivation. We only get one omicron a month to work with, and every three months another conquest or legendary drops that wants to eat three of them for maximum performance. Not to mention nearly monthly marquees that want at least one omicron. With that kind of pressure in so many other game modes, an omicron with an expiration date looks very unappealing - even at half price.
I can't see a refund happening - and I don't really care (lesson learned, caveat emptor and all that) - but I also can't see CG making it worthwhile to invest when they make my investment worthless after it's sell-by date. Maybe a completely different upgrade material that doesn't compete with omicrons is worth considering. I don't know what the solution is, but what we've got now tastes a lot like, "haha, no."
Not everything is about the top end guilds. Some guilds will still have to run Krayt when the new raid drops, just like guilds had to switch back to Hsith when Krayt dropped. So not really that silly to say, plus it is proving that is will still have use. I think the new raids suck, sending in the same 5 teams, hitting the same button order is very boring, at least you could change the team with the old raids.
Regardless, it is silly to complain about using an omi for a year, which gave you better rewards, let you save relic mats and *they already gave a partial refund for*, then when the new raid drops cry it is useless. Who knows, she might be used in a future raid, like QGJ coming back into the light after years of being benched.
