There is no greater detriment to the game than datacrons. They fundamentally change characters in unforeseen ways and will never be patched or fixed because they are temporary. Random stat boosts suck; they're lazy, stupid, predatory mission designs aimed at people with gambling problems. Adding random stats to counters at best makes the characters feel like tanks, and at worst ruins the entire point of having certain teams in the game. Battles that hard counter another team shouldn't take 4+ mins to do a GA/arena battle because they now have +200% defense. Stupidly overpowered temporary boons to bad teams are even worse. I am doing 1 damage per attack, regardless of what attack, to Krrstan in GA right now. His datacron is supposed to reduce damage by 75% while above 50%tm, instead it reduces every attack to 1 damage. Malgus' "dark deception" 1 damage, malaks "drain life" 1 freaking damage!! That is literally broken/not working as intended. But it will be in the game for the next 4 months as is. Introducing an unbalanced, untested, temporary boon is clearly hurting the health of this already old mobile game. Consider starting over on them or just letting them die, and stop making new ones.

They aren’t going to dump datacrons, it’s just another revenue stream. Did you submit a bug report? They can’t fix it if you don’t report it.
On the plus side, they're ready accessible and if you can't beat them, join them.
I’d be surprised if they patch it now, but bonuses do come back around so if there is a bug it might be fixed for a later set. 🤷♂️
75% Damage reduction from the DC if you have high tm.
30% Damage reduction for Jabba's team
You can get similar setups with a few other comps, at times.
They are making too much money off us renting them for four months at a time and they will continue to give us ridiculously OP sets and "meh" sets in a rotation of their choosing. No matter what we have to say about their rented garbage, they won't listen. Nor will they talk about them since they apparently still have a gag order about datacrons other than telling us what the next set is. (Even if they do, the person who made the decision to implement them doesn't have to interact with players at all, so they don't feel the frustration or pain of datacrons anyway.)
It would be nice if they removed them, but don't expect it with much more than a 1% chance. If they want to prove me wrong, I double dog dare them to...
Tho this set kinda doesnt do the trick
No more tyranny of mods!!
I could get behind that. Mod management is the worst, most tedious part of the game imho.
