  • Use Chief Chirpa lead.
  • Use Chief Chirpa lead.
    That’s gonna be a while
  • It's been a while, several years, but I remember quite well since I used the same team. It's incredibly hard but achievable. Try to kill Chewie as fast as possible ... after that there's quite a chance. But it needs dozens of retrys. If Chewies not dead soon enough, abandon the fight and start over.

That’s the problem they all attack fast and wipe my team in less than a minute

Whether the right way takes a while or not a while, it’s still the right way. I suggest you look up event guides before you start constructing the teams for said events. Will save yourself time and resources.
  • Relicing the ewoks may also take awhile but hey now some of them are useful for Leia. There is also the raid which is more of a year long thing.

I would still recommend chirps lead but even then it's not easy and requires some luck and the strategy of chewie, han Leia, r2. Commando somewhere in there for me he usually taunts and gets himself killed somewhere after chewie dies.

I know this is not helpful. :)
  • You can have Chirpa by the end of next week.
We have 6 days of double drops coming up, and Chirpa is a Cantina farm and drops are x2 anyway b/c he's an older toon.

Get him from Cantina Battles 5-D: 16 nrg/attempt. You already have at least 50 shards, so... you're fine. This is going to be 2 shards per drop for the next 4 days, then 4 shards per drop for the 6 days after, 30-33 drops per 100 attempts. So 120+ shards per hundred attempts during double drops, and even with 1 refresh per day you get 17.8 attempts per day.

    17.8 x 6 = 107 attempts.

So in the next 4 days you get 70 attempts and an estimated 45+ shards. then you have 6 days where you can anticipate 142 shards.

That's 187 shards in the next 10 days if you only use 100 crystals/day on refreshes.

Your results get better if you save your 4 refreshes during the next 4 days and spend those crystals for 4 extra refreshes (total = 35 attempts) during double drops. This means your next 4 days expected total goes down to 23, but your double drops total increases by 46 for the same crystal expenditure.

To sum up: with 1000 crystals spent on energy refreshes over 10 days (and energy refreshes are the most efficient use of crystals in the game), you get 233 shards.

So I guess the question is whether or not you have Chirpa at 4 stars or higher. If you do, Chirpa is yours within 10 days.
  • Where is your speed mod?

I'm afraid it is quite a difficult event that you will struggle to undergear if you are a new player without an extensive selection of mods. Chief Chirpa has easily the best lead ability for Ewoks and is worth the wait.
  • if i want to combine this event and getting gl leia later on, what would be the best team to work towards? like the one posted above, chirpa lead, wicket, neesa, logray and paploo? or maybe elder instead of either paploo/logray?

Chirpa, Wicket, Kneesaa, Logray, Paploo covers you for Leia reqs (Chirpa R3, Wicket R3, Kneesaa R7) and also some P1 platoon reqs in RotE (Logray, Paploo both at R5). That's also widely considered the "right" team comp for PVP.
F2P since the last time I bought Kyros, Crystals, or the Conquest Pass.
