Anniversary gifts exclude young players (because the web store)

Devs! Please don’t lock anniversary presents behind the web store. My teenage kid simply cannot access those items because EA won’t let younglings have access to the web store.

It’s bad enough kids don’t get to collect the daily freebies. But now they also miss out on multiple 80-shard drops in the anniversary pack, too. Not very friendly, that.

I never understood the age restriction. If they allow them to play in the game where there is micro transactions available to them, why not the webstore?

I'm kidding. It's lame that minor accounts are locked out of the freebies - I think CG should put those items in the in-game store for minor accounts. They could leave it in the web store for everyone else to drive the traffic they want.- but I'm sure it doesn't feel good for the young people that can't access it.

Yep drives me crazy. also, we used to get the free bonus calendar before the creation of the web store but now we cannot, and that may bug me the most since it was something taken from me that i had in the past.

I guess there's no reason to give my kid a gift card to spend on SWGOH then. Maybe he can go play another game where he gets all the benefits I would and I can give that game money instead.

Yeah it sucks but with the COPPA law I don't blame them for preventing under 18 on chat or online store.

i completely understand that- i would just like access to free stuff, maybe move it to the regular store.
