Vader viability

Are any of you close to getting Vader to 5* stars? And how many years/decades do you think it would take to get him to 7*?

At the time I finally got him, I allready have a couple of 6 and 7 star characters. By the time I get him to 5*, juging from the achevments, I will probable have a lot of 7*'s and thus he will probable always be far down on my list of characters power-wise.
