So did anyone's damage ACTUALLY changed?

I mean the characters we have and play with every day, with their current levels and gear, not some utopian datamined level-unreachable and gear-nonexistent version of them?

I noted down the stats of a dozen of my chars before update, then compared after update and guess what? Exactly the same (except power has increased, I guess to accommodate protection).

So for instance my Phasma before update:
Power = 5279
Speed = 115 + 6
Health = 15222
Ph. Damage = 1141 + 45
Armor = 167

And after update, the only difference is Power = 5614.
In particular, Physical Damage has stayed exactly the same.
(Power have all increased, at quite a dramatic distinct pace though).

So for one, I don't really care that my Old Ben was projected to have about 4000 damage (yay!), now reduced to 3000 (meh), whereas my current Old Ben does about 2000 (come on!). He didn't lose anything today, still does 2000. He will gain less than what I had been made aware (unofficially, with disclaimers) he would. Big deal.

But we know that between the written stats (as above) and actual damage, there is a secret ingredient that nobody knows, and perhaps that one has changed, and that one is the interesting change stat I'm after.

    They changed the damage modifiers.
  • My FOTP hit for 1800 & didn't get a second attack
  • Yes for example yoda his special stun under 50% used to hit for 9k to 11k now hits for 2k just garbage

    @LMYYYKS (does your name mean anything btw?) Yes, that's what I'm after!... Is there a before/after of those modifiers? I remember noting down a few of them in a previous post, will go back to it and compare.

    Armor and defense matters now!

    Post Patch I have seen my Rey hit her normal 8k and 10K+ specials on several enemies

    Then I went and attacked a team with a fives leader... no one put offense down on my team... but my Rey ending up just tickling that team with her specials doing only 5k-6k

    Game used to be fun when it wasn't a grind... if I wanted a grind I would have went and played old school Everquest or some Korean MMO!

    The name is the input of my Chinese name (I'm from Hong Kong). I used to write it uncapped but most people mistake the "L" for an "i" so now I write it in full cap.

    Yeah I went there, and I can see the new value of the modifiers (e.g. Old Ben: base modifier = 1.099), but not the previous value (before the update).

    I feel the comparison table is misleading because the previous max damage value was not actual, e.g. Old Ben again, way down on page 5, states [old ~ 4000, new ~ 3200, diff - 20%] but that's not correct because no Old Ben in the world was anywhere close to 4000. Or worse, it lists Yoda' old AoE at 7k but nowhere in the world was that real.
    The listed damage was for level 80 (which nobody is), with gears that are not craftable, and ability level 8 which nobody had.

    But it's fine, I'll be happy with just the new values, that's what matters now anyway.

    I noticed that GS was actually nerfed as opposed to what everybody believes, as his modifiers went down 8% each.

    GS only has his basic nerfed. His special remains unchanged.

    No, there's something fishy there.

    His base modifier (for the second attack) was 1.942 and now it's 1.784, so either that is wrong or there was a nerf.
    Actually if you look at his damage vs. ability, there's a mistake at level 3: it says +10% , but it computes +15%.

    Maybe it's just a typo/mistake, and there was indeed no nerf. Do you know how we can report an error to that website?

    Anakin got nerfed to ugnaught usefulness.
  • FOTP, QGJ, Kylo, Ventress don't deliver close to the same damage anymore. I was hitting 3x harder with FOTP and Ventress before update, and 2x harder with qgj. Kylo was always a pussy, but even worse now
