Is Kylo realy that good ?

Hi guys. I was wandering if Kylo is as good as we think he is. I have faced and borrowed him several times. So my observations are that he is fast, with low cd's cuz of passive and decent counter. But i have a doubt bout his damage. It seems to me that his damage isn't that high like Lumi's, Maul's and Sid's. So please tell me if i am mistaken and maybe i was facing/borrowing not that good Kylos. Should go and farm him or should I put my resources somewhere else. He just doesn't seem to be that good. Hope to be mistaken.
I would be happy to get some high lvl feedback bout him

5* tier 6 gear does about 1000 with his aoe(tier 3) and 1600 with basic(tier 4). His single target skill(tier 4) has crit for about 4k.

His CD is almost always reset by Dooku and Fives counter.

I'm not sure how he does in defense, but the a.i. attacks him a lot for some reason. Lots of counters.

I just unlocked him and I am not sure yet. I think that some characters have a higher learning curve than others, and this is one of them. It will take time to figure him out. Right now I am not sure what to do with him, honestly.
His abilities can be tricky, because frankly, I don't like anyone to be under 50% unless there are no hard hitters left. Right now his AoE doesn't hit very hard for me yet, nor does his regular attack. His health is great.
I also need to learn how to use his counter more appropriately.
Finally I have to get Phasma starred up so I can use the two of them together. But I don't think a 3* Phasma is ready for prime time. I may not put her into my leadership slot until I get her to 5*. I should have Kylo 5* around the same time, and hopefully at that point they will come together.

Right now I have him at around 2700. Many other characters who are 4* level 60 gear 5 are up around 3300-3500/

Yeah I have noticed his power is low too. This is not good for PvP as it means you are more likely to get "picked on". Hopefully I haven't made a mistake farming him.. but I do think he'll at least be fun to play with once I get the hang of him.
Reminds me of Asajj in many ways (except Asajj flies under the radar while Kylo is very popular for obvious reasons).

Kylo is a versatile character. He isnt amazing at anything he does but has a lot of tricks.

I just redid dark side 5K with Phasma and Kylo. Before I barely 1-starred it; with these two, it was a joke. I had a borrowed Daka also but she wasn't even needed.
I think Kylo excels with Phasma and especially against AoEs. I think he will be a good AoE neutralizer with his counters and CD resets. Still a long way to go but fun so far.

He is also a great counter to dooku

I had him and Boba in Arena left yesterday at lvl 56, going against a team 4000 power higher then me and lvl 60. I made an early mistake. Then got double stunned by dooku, which took out the Jedi healer. So, Boba and Kylo was left against barris dooku and hk 47 who had died already and revied again with only very little health. Boba went and took out HK, enemy dooku did his thing and attacked Boba. kylos turn I went for the lash out and dropped Dooku in one shot probably over kill because it said 7,600 crit. Bye Dooku. I realized his end game is better then Dooku right there. Barris last against dps, barris never wins.

I have sid, vader, kylo, lumi, and poggle. After poggle buff its almost guaranteed to have 5v4 or even 5v3 after the first round. Skipping my strategy and ill talk about just kylo. After he's at 50% + poggle buff + crit i can hit about 9k. With buff, full health, and no crit i can still hit for almost 5k. Imo hes a most have for my team set up. I dont know how this team do on defense, but i would imagine it would make enemy team suffer for any mistake. On offense its super fun. I have kylo at 5* gear 7 lvl60.

Also if dooku hits me with a bonus attack, i retaliate with 2 counters. Pretty sick

Not an easy team to beat by any stretch.

I run Ventress so Poggle buff is a non-issue. I would focus down Sid and hopefully keep him stunned.

But if Sid and Vader both get off their AOE... Well the hype is real on that team-up.

I have Kylo as well at the same stars and gear level. I really like his move set and he is a headache to fight. Usually I just leave him to last and hope his healing immunity doesnt stick too often.

I don't like DM due to his difficulty starring and even at 5* he is always one of the first to die. Granted I think he is gear 5, but still. Also his value decreases as you face fewer and fewer mainly Jedi teams.

Phasma, Sid, Kylo, Lumi, and maybe JC or another counter/assist hero seems like it could work though and all of them are farmable. If you want a lot of AOE and aren't facing many counter teams, you could add in Ventress for her buffed AOE.

replace DM with vader and that was my worst Arena loss ever. Double AoE DoT plus DoT with healing immunity is game over. Get 5 DoT with healing immunity on a few heroes and 2-3 DoTs on others they will burn all their heals and then you have a 5 vs 3, use Vaders special based on effects and its 5-2.

6* Kylo gear 7 abilities at 5. Fully buffed outrage crit for just under 12k against a lower opponents FOTP in a GW. That's full advantage, and offense up from QGJ. Keep him half health as much as possible for the 75% bonus in GWs which is fairly easy to do if you utilize retreat.

I don't use him in arena with my current build.

A level 42 just hit my 4* gear 5.5 chewie for 1850 no crit so yeah, he is OP. I am getting sith and tired of seeing him show up on every Arena team with a Darth Maul and a vanilla leader like Chewie or Phasma. "Cool, I just found an opponent with 5% less power" turns into "Cool, just lost to somebody who spent hundreds of dollars" about 50% of the time I run into them
