Barriss Heal after update?

Anybody know how Barriss' heal works after the update? Say one character has low health and another is at full health and has some protection left, how does the equalization portion of her heal work? Does the character with some protection left lose health to equalize? If so, what happens to that characters' protection?

From what I can tell, it equalizes hit points without affecting protection. E.g., Barriss has 100% HP and 100% protection points ("PP"), QGJ has 20% HP and 0% PP... Barris goes to 60% HP (+heal) and 100% PP, QGJ goes to 60% HP (+heal) and still 0% PP.
