Why a character such as Resistance Trooper equips gear that increases special damage while none of his ability actually deals special damages?

Makes no sense and needs to be reworked.

Not just him, either, it affects many characters.

She should have minimal Special Damage and Crit and Penetration stats because they are irrelevant. She should not have gear that boosts these. That gear should boost relevant stats. You might also note that her Defense stats are better than the "Defense" Jedi, Eeth Koth.

This needs retooling for ALL toons.

It seems indeed the system needs a complete overhaul. I understand and even agree with the need for multiplayer content (guilds and raids) as a top priority. I hope with that out of the gates later, the Devs will switch their attention to ironing the several bugs and such gear abnormalities.
