Crystals and packs

So i'm fairly new to this game (level 43, Squad Arena team 4* Sid, 3* Lumi, 3* Phasma, 2* JC, 2* Resistance Pilot,) The public opinion as far as i know is to use your crystals for energy and hard mode refreshing, but there's something about them packs... I have 292 crystals. Is the 4-pack the ideal PACK to buy? (not the ideal decision) Thanks

Unless your buying 8x pack don't bother. I've only bought 8x pack and have gotten great results. If you want useless shards then buy a 350 pack or chase some gear and increase you character for arena.
