You get guild currency by completing the guild activity of the day, the leaderboard stuff. As for spending any 600 energy stuff to finish personal guild contribution, after reset, that amount of coin is added to the guild currency which can later be used to summon raids.
This 600 personal guild contribution daily is a selfless act of spending that much of any energy(normal/cantina) per day so that your guild will have enough currency to summon raids you do not get anything in return, except participate in raids when they are summoned and then get "guild" currency for personal use(that's how you earn) and also get some epic gears.
One more way to earn personal guild coins(to spend in guild store) is that you do the daily activities like ls battles, gw nodes, arenas on respective days and depending on your ranking in the leadership board you get personal guild coins to spend.
