Offense down from old ben, does not apply to characters with offense up

Went up against a poggle. He cast offense up, Naturally, I cast offense down, there was no "resist" animation, it applied the ability block but not the offense down. Maybe this is working as intended or perhaps it is not. Would like clarification either way, thank you!

Inverse is also true. When applying offense up using Finn's Hold the Line, any defense down graphic previously applied is still showing, and no defense up icon ever shows (same w/ Ima).

I would expect a minimum of a cancellation.
