Advice Lvl 40/General Veers

I just hit level 40. Up until yesterday, I wasn't really playing with a specific strategy, just focused on leveling up. Because of this, I haven't done much farming.
My current roster:
Chewy: 3 star, lvl 40 (w/health improvements)
General Veers: 3 star, lvl 40
Poe Dameron: 3 star, lvl 40
Talia: 3 star, lvl 40
JC: 2 star, lvl 40
Jawa: 3 star, lvl 39
(and a bunch of randoms, Biggs, Snowtrooper, FO Storm around lvls 35)
I am now farming for Luke Skywalker in SC, farming for JC in Battles, and using Cantina energy to get Old Daka; I am using Arena energy to get Sid; and just started GW and will shoot for Lumi.
1) Does this sound like a good strategy? Any suggestions?
2) SHould I continue to level up General Veers? There isn't much written about him. Thoughts?
