Heroes Notifications

Not a huge deal but can't figure out how to get rid of the stupid character notifications (little red circle with numbers in it) even when I've cleared all the stuff in the character screen. Help?

I have the same problem with it showing 1 notification on the character tab. But there's nothing to do on the character screen at all! Maybe I'm missing something?
