Question about the Leader's ability

I have a question regarding the leader's ability: once the leader dies the leader's ability will stay effective for the remanents characters or it will disappear along with the leader??

I've had people bonus attack from Phasma leader ability even after she was remov3d. So I believe it stays

In Galactic Wars, if you kill the leader, then retreat and come back, the leader ability goes away.

In Arena, (seeing how you can't retreat and come back to the same fight in-progress) the leader ability remains throughout the fight.

I know Teebo leader ability remains even after death.
