Hope they can have a way to spend more tix for something good for like guaranteed shards or drops.

If not I'm happy to sell mine off for credits since I'm always short on that.

Supposedly they are working on a system to trade shards. Maybe they will also allow you to sell tickets to other players? That would be nice, since I am always short on tickets but have an abundance of credits.

Maybe, but that is so far in the future that it bears ignoring for now. In the meantime, I could be better served with more sim tickets. As it is, I often do my gear farming on auto to conserve them for when I am paying closer attention to what I am doing.
