Why is challenge gear in raid rewards?

Opened up my raid reward today to get 10 pieces of purple gear. I was like sweet...only to see that is was a piece that I already had 450 of stacked from challenges.

Why is the raid drop table diluted with gear that is so easily obtainable in challenges? I thought this was suppose to offer exclusive, better gear. Not the same stuff we have been farming for months and have hundreds of.

This needs to be looked at immediately. The previous patch was a step in the right direction but there is still a ways to go before raids do as they were promised.

Because they want us to grind. They want us to look like we are getting something (even if that something is worth less than they are trying to portray).
