525,000 Bundled Credit Pack Special

The 525,000 bundled credit pack shows a special when you tap it. It says buy 7, get 1 free. I did this a week ago but couldn't tell I was getting anything for free after buying 7. I tried buying an eighth bundled credit pack but it cost me another 595 crystals. I need to buy more credits now. How does this promotion actually work?

I believe its already included in the price? That is just a description of what you're getting, ie-if you buy the 595 credit bundle, you're getting one more credit pack than if you spent the same amount on the individual packs

Got it. You can buy 7 of the 85 crystal packs for a total of 595 crystals to get 459,375 credits. Alternatively if you buy the 595 crystal pack you get 525,000 credits for an extra 65,625 credits, which is worth 85 crystals. Hence when spending 595 crystals to get 525,000, it's like you're getting a free 85 crystal pack.

It's not a bad deal. Onky time I buy those packs is if I want to promote a character and I'm broke. Nothing worse than the Promote button glowing on your main toon with a 1 mill price tag and you have 34k to your name lol.

Aren't the key battles for credits a better investment?
Each refill nabs you about 200k credits

If you do 4 refills it will cost 300 crystals and gets you 480 energy and 9 battles each battle worth 100k credits for a total of 900k....I think I did the math right

The math looks right to me. I'll be honest, I hadn't done the math but will need to consider this the next time I need money. The only issue might be burning through that much energy without farming since there are still several toons i'm trying to gear up. I've thus far only done the key battles on two days and both times were because I needed a lot of training droids to bring up some backups from the minors

I'm a gambling man, so I would rather buy 7 of the 65,625 credit packs and hope to get more than 525,000 by having 7 chances at getting 2x or 3x the credits!

Got a 3x once and a 2x once but that was before the Dec 3 update (no idea if they changed drop rate?) and I have only bought 2-3 more since then and they were singles.

Been doing keycard events for cash since unlocking it.

Edit: they were all small credit packs except once when I bought the bundle and it was a 1X.

I've bought around 10 of the bundles, only one was a 2x never got a 3x.

Each battle 100k? No, each battle at level 6 Dark is 1.1k. So a refil is 10k. So you'd need 100 energy refills for 1,000,000 credits, which will cost you $8,678,664,996,890 vs the 1200 crystals for cash option!

I think you are misreading or not understanding ... We are speaking of the keycard battles not the Normal missions. Each battle cost 50 energy and nets you about 100k credits.
