How do I know What my Defensive Team Is

So when we do arena, we go up against an AI controlled human lineup. How does it select the defensive line up? How can we ensure it picks the optimal team?

It doesnt..the team u use on offense is what is used on defense. So if u want a different defensive team u need to use that team on ur last arena battle.
