As you may have heard, Star Wars is coming back into our lives in a major way.
In addition to a new trilogy, comprised of Episodes 7-9, Lucasfilm will be releasing non-trilogy one-off movies in-between Episode films, under the "Anthology" umbrella - starting with Rogue One in 2016.
After that, we're finally getting what we've been dreaming of since a certain bounty hunter entered our lives in The Empire Strikes Back - a Boba Fett movie.
I wonder if there has been another character in any other franchise that has become so popular almost solely based on their costume. All he really does in ESB is find Han. He has almost no dialog and no action scenes. He gets a little bit in RoTJ, but isn't all that effective. Yet he's many people's favorite character. He was likely added to the prequels because of how popular he is and all that's based on how awesome he looks. Now he's apparently getting his own movie. That's a pretty impressive feat for a costume designer.

While not canon, before the Disney Take over boba actually did escape the Sarlacc pit. So this could also be brought back.
