To give you an answer you wanted...

Are there other officers active so you can still raid? They can do most of what the leader can. Only way to replace the leader is contact ea I expect and explain the situation. If you do happen to leave and you guys have some 75+ guys with 10+ 7*'s for T6/7 raids we are always looking for good people

The easiest option is for someone to spend 300k credits and reboot the guild if you've got a good group.

Contacting EA is useless on this. We have gone through 2 leaders disappearing. I have jumped through every hoop imaginable to get help via contacting EA.

As others have pointed out, just make a new guild and merge players. Make sure you write down all the ally codes etc. Time to find out who is loyal to the guild. We have room for 7 awesome people if they are at or near 78+ with at least 10 7 star toons and daily play.

We lost our 2nd leader because his wife got his phone bill LOL. Phone went into toilet. Regardless, we lost a few people due to frustration of trying to retake the guild. Whatever you do, make a decision quick. The longer you wait, the more likely your members will disperse.

So I contacted EA about our AWOL leader today and initially he said he couldn't help but I pointed out a forum post where I guy was told to contact EA about the same thing and then replied that he got it taken care of and he told me to hang on, talked with a specialist then asked for my Ally Code and Guild Name and a few minutes later I was assigned leadership. They can do it, just be polite and point out that it's been done before. Most of the time the person you are talking with isn't going to have the answer and they are going to have to find the specialist that does.
