What's the point of leaderboards if there's no prizes?

Seriously what's the point of Raid leaderboards if there is no rewards? Bragging rights? :/
Can't beat POE and aren't willing to change strats to defeat him? Cry nerf lol

  • Yes. Bragging rights. People already have their flaming torches and pitchforks out en en masse, with the current system. What do you think they'd do if top guilds were getting rewards?

A gigantic raise for their ego to compensate for the other gigantic missing. ;)
    Left by design.
The fixed payout times are the worst part of this game and makes it absolutely family-unfriendly.

Are you refering to the "Wall of Shame" where using alts is the only way to secure top positions?

And they should also get extra rewards for that? lol

Hmm, on second thought, they lost the respect of most of the community, so maybe some extra rewards would be in order to balance that. +1

No, I don't think they did. Just a small fraction. Insignificant, really.

    Funny form of denial.

Oh wait, 99% of the threads complaining about this get instantly shut-down, for petty reasons such as using the word "cheat". With that many players squelched, the few allowed to speak their mind would indeed appear as insignificant.

Proud to be part of the insignificant majority.

The subject should be "whats the point of leaderboars".....only.

With all the mess with guild hopping and alt accounts you wnat to give rewards????

Well...with the path they are following up maybe we will have rewards and more public praise...if that gives money...why not devs? Take "a look" at this too.

They're getting shut down for violation of ToS. The forum is maybe 10% of the entire playerbase. 10% of those have expressed concern. And 90% of those can't even discuss the issue in a civilized manner, so their threads get closed.

Yep, just bragging rights. As it stands, if you're in a squad that's near the top of leaderboard, you'll be getting a huge volume of rewards from the raids themselves. I'm not sure what else would be a reasonable reward after that (credits, maybe?).

Considering we're one week into June and only 1 guild out of 200 displayed on the leaderboard seem to be abusing a questionable method, it is safe to assume that most of the player community cannot or doesn't want to resort to this despicable method to secure top ranks.

    Everyone except "them".

    Insignificant, really ; )

Nope....other guilds do this, they're just trying to remain incognito.

    Meanwhile, down on the farm....

For some reason there are those who think anyone actually cares how much money they throw at a cell phone game to get at the top of a leaderboard.

It's not exactly something you'll put on a resume. No one irl gives a flying ****. If your life is that meaningless that it actually boosts your ego then I guess that's a plus. We all need something to look forward to.
