T6 Raid "Cancelled" at Month End?!?!

Our guild was on the last 5% of a T6 raid that we had been working for 4 days. Right at the toon refresh time, 4PM PST July 1, we all zerged to finish it off. As soon as my A-Team was killed it said the Raid was no longer running. Was this some kind of crappy month leader board reset bug?!? Our guild just lost 4 days work!
