Vader or Magmatrooper?

I'm farming gear for he empire event and debating who my 5th should be: my 5* Vader or 7* magmatrooper. Both are currently gear VII. Rest of the team will be HK47, IG 86, IG 88 and RG. Thoughts?

Magmatrooper doesn't shine until gear 10. If this is just for the event, focus on Vader.

Hey, I had exact same dilemma. I opted for vader. Read that mags sucks without max gear.

Thanks folks that's where I was leaning. Dont see myself using either long term at this point outside this event. So Vader it is.
